New York City is known for many things. Central Park. Broadway. Concerts. Sports. A hot spot for celebs, domestic and international. But East Rutherford, New Jersey, although somewhat close in proximity, is not known for much more than housing MetLife Stadium and both New York NFL teams.
Luckily for the city, its proximity to New York City brings in top talent and big names.
On Saturday, June 4, Coldplay performed at MetLife Stadium. The British band is known for its varying styles of music, theatrical and fun concerts and for supporting causes. Their current cause is sustainability, but that’s not what this is about. Coldplay selected rising star, California-native Gabriella Wilson, professionally known as H.E.R. (pronounced her, stands for Having Everything Revealed), to open for them.
Wilson, although a California native, paid tribute to the New York Giants before the show.
She may be from the West Coast, but she certainly has good taste in football teams. Even if she’s not a true Giants fan, she knew where she was and supported the local team. She’s not just pretty and talented, folks, she’s smart, too!
