New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge has been on an absolute tear so far in 2022. The 30-year-old All-Star already has 17 home runs, five more than the next closest player. He also has 34 RBI and 35 runs scored all while slashing a robust .325/.398/.715. Judge has always been a mountain of a man, but his display of power so far this season has been eye-poppingly impressive, even when compared to the ghosts of Yankees past. Judge’s performance through the first quarter of the baseball calendar is a big reason why the Yanks have the best record in all of baseball, and if he keeps it up, he might end up taking home his first AL MVP as well.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Despite his massive power, Judge has hit more than 40 dingers in a season just once, back in 2017, when he hit 52. He’s on pace to shatter that total. So with that in mind, how many of the New York Yankees players to have at least 40 home runs in a season can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
