Tyson Fury is insisting he’ll retire. But that’s not his only option
Lisa Whiteside
Commonwealth Games gold medallist
I think Tyson will come back for the unification fight. He will probably go do some more wrestling stateside or even an exhibition bout. But I think the lure of being undisputed champ will see him box for all the marbles.
Tony Jeffries
Olympic medallist
I don’t think he will retire just yet. I think the lure of a unification bout against the winner of Usyk vs Joshua will be too much for Tyson to turn down.
Paul Smith
Former British champion
He surely has to fight the winner of the Usyk vs AJ rematch. I feel he has the perfect opportunity to cement his name as the best heavyweight of this era and I’d love to see him fight either of those two. The exhibitions he mentioned, with respect, can be fought and won after a couple of years lay off.
Andy Clarke
Boxing commentator
Fury will fight the winner of Usyk vs Joshua for undisputed. I believe Fury when he says he’s retired but after he’s rested up for a couple of months, and then when the winner of that fight starts calling his name, I think he’ll change his mind.
