Liverpool booked their spot in the final with a powerful 3-2 victory over Manchester City, aided by some lethargic play and sloppy decisions from Pep Guardiola’s side.

Jack Grealish did pull one back at the start of the second half, but their second through Bernardo Silva came too late as Liverpool held on.
In the other semi-final, Chelsea proved too strong for Crystal Palace. Ruben Loftus-Cheek opened the scoring against his former loan side before Mason Mount wrapped the contest up with a second.
The total prize money for the winners is £3.412m, accumulated in wins throughout the competition.
