The ‘Recent MLB no-hitters’ quiz

It only took Los Angeles Angels rookie Reid Detmers 11 career starts to throw his first no-hitter. Taking the hill against the Tampa Bay Rays, the No. 10 overall pick out of Louisville in the 2020 MLB Draft only faced two batters over the minimum, issuing one walk and striking out only two hitters. The no-no wasn’t achieved without a little bit of controversy, as a seemingly friendly ruling by the Angels’ official scorer kept Detmers’ bid intact. It’s the second no-hitter of the season but the first solo effort, as the Mets had five pitchers combine for a no-hitter against Philadelphia on April 29. Detmers’ next start is scheduled for Monday, when the Halos travel to Arlington to take on the Texas Rangers.

Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. In honor of Detmers’ feat, we want to see if you can name the last pitcher for every MLB team to throw a no-hitter. We’re looking for solo no-hitters only, not combined no-hitters. Five minutes are on the clock.

Good luck!
